Day 01 Arrive Mandalay
Arrive in Mandalay Airport. Transfer to
hotel. After lunch (starting cyclic tour is depend on client’s arrival
time) proceed on a comprehensive sightseeing tour by cycle including MAHAMUNI PAGODA with its spectacular Buddha image covered with thick layers
of gold leaves and KUTHODAW PAGODA, known as the world’s largest book,
consisting of 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures. Sunset
from MANDALAY HILL. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Mandalay.
Day 02 Mandalay – Sagaing –
Breakfast at hotel, morning at leisure. At afternoon, Biking start to
Sagaing, passing Sagaing hill among the hundreds of white stupas and a lot
of twist and turns welcome the bikers for pleasure. Dinner and overnight in
Day 03 Mandalay – Myittha
Breakfast at hotel and ride to Myittha. The town is situated 67 km south of
Mandalay and passing through rice and vegetable fields and getting fresh
air. Myittha is one of the famous towns for productive cultivation. Lunch &
Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Monastery.
Day 04 Myittha – Myin Gyan
After breakfast, proceeds cyclic tour to Myin Gyan, 85 km from Myittha,
popular city for productive cultivation farm and old colonial building in
the town. Lunch and Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in local guest
Day 05: Myin Gyan – Bagan
After breakfast ride to Bagan. Lunch en route. Arrival Bagan check in hotel.
Welcome by thousands of ancient stupas and temples in this area make Bagan,
this is one of the most remarkable archaeological sites in Asia. From the
11th till 13th century, when Bagan was the capital of Myanmar, the kings of
constructed huge stupas and temple, many of which are still standing today
only the banks of the Irrawaddy River. Visit the lesser known area of
Myinkaba with several old temples and felt the atmosphere of the former
royal days. End of the day with cycle tour among the temples passing by the
traditional village of Taungbi, Sulamani Temple and massive. Dhammayangyi
Temple noted for its remarkable brickwork. Enjoy the sunset over the site
from the upper terrace of Myauk Guni Temple or suitable place. Dinner and
Overnight in Bagan.
Day 06 Bagan
After breakfast, biking start again, among the famous ancient pagodas, the
Shwezigon Pagoda and its magnificent golden stapes, Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi, a
cave temple with exquisite jatakas mural paintings and the elegant
Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone
decorations. After lunch, observe the process of traditional lacquer ware,
on of Myanmar’s best known handicrafts and a specialty of Bagan.
And then, bike and visit Ananda, an architectural masterpiece of the early
style temple with four impressive standing Buddha images, Ananda Okkyaung,
one of the few surviving brick monasteries from the early Bagan period.
Dinner and overnight in Bagan.
Day 07 Bagan – Mount Popa
After breakfast Proceed on a scenic cyclic journey to Mount Popa, an extinct
volcano over 1500m high, about 48km south east of Bagan. Mount Popa has
played an important role in Myanmar culture, religion and history since the
earliest time. Its shrine dedicated of the 37 Nats, the Burmese ancient
animist spirits. The view over the Myingyan Plain from the top of the Popa –
Taung Kalat volcanic peak is simply breathtaking. Lunch at the beautiful
Popa Mountain Resort. For the energetic, there is time to climb the 777
steps to the shrine at the top of the volcanic plug. Dinner and overnight in
Popa Mountain resort.
Day 08 Mount Popa – Meiktila
Breakfast at hotel and ride to Meiktila with stop for lunch at a local
restaurant en route. Cycling around Meikhtila Including Meikhtila lake,
famous pagodas and other attractive places. Dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight in Meiktila guest house.
Day 09 Meiktila – Kalaw
In the morning, started long journey trip to Kalaw, these biking places is
most attractive and adventurous for our esteemed bikers. Lunch en route.
Dinner and overnight at 100 years old Kalaw Hotel in Kalaw.
Day 10 Kalaw – Pindaya
Very early start for an overland biking journey to PINDAYA. Lunch at a
simple local restaurant or boxed lunch. Not only biking but also seeing
ethic’s ways of life en-route. On arrival Pindaya, visit PINDAYA Caves,
unique for the thousands of Buddha images placed there by pilgrims over many
centuries. Dinner and overnight in Pindaya.
Day 11 Pindaya – Inle
In the morning ride to NYAUNG SHWE, 90 km from Pindaya. The wind of Shan
plateau will give freshment for all bikers. Lunch at local restaurant
en-route. After arrival Inle Lake, the beauty of sunset over the Inle Lake
enchants all Bikers. Dinner and overnight in Nyaung Shwe.
Day 12 Inle – Heho / Yangon
An excursion by boat on Inle Lake will include sights of the famous leg
rowers, typical floating gardens, local methods of fishing and village life.
After lunch, transfer by road to Heho Airport for domestic flight to YANGON,
visiting en route a cheroot factory and a wish fulfilling pagoda. Transfer
to hotel for dinner and overnight in Yangon.
Day 13 Yangon
Proceed for a sightseeing tour that includes the old colonial-style city
center with the gilded SULE PAGODA, dating back over 2,000 years, BOGYOKE
(SCOTT’S) MARKET with hundreds of stores and visit of a gems shop. The tour
continues to CHAUK HTAT GYI, a huge reclining Buddha image followed by a
photo stop made at KARAWEIK HALL, a royal floating barge. An extended visit
to SHWEDAGON PAGODA, one of the world’s most spectacular religious
monuments, will conclude today’s sightseeing tour of this picturesque Garden
City. The golden dome of the Shwedagon Pagoda rises 98 meters above its base
and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Dinner and overnight in Yangon.
Day 14 Yangon / Bangkok
In the morning free for shopping and Day at leisure. Afternoon transfer to
Yangon International Airport for departure.
